Diaries kept by members of the Carpenter family of Charlestown, Mass. Most were kept by Eugene L. Carpenter, who commented on the weather, his family, his religious feelings, and his health. Carpenter evidently suffered from epilepsy. One diary was kept by Florence A. Carpenter, and another is in a different hand, but unidentified.
